RescueMe.ie Provider Agreement

Last updated: March 2026

This Provider Agreement governs the relationship between RescueMe.ie and independent roadside assistance providers who register to use the RescueMe platform.

By registering as a provider on RescueMe.ie or using the RescueMe provider application, you agree to the terms outlined in this agreement.

1. Independent Contractor Status

All providers using RescueMe.ie operate as independent businesses.

Nothing in this agreement creates an employment relationship, partnership or agency between RescueMe.ie and the provider.

Providers are solely responsible for their own business operations, pricing, insurance and compliance with all legal requirements.

2. Nature of the Platform

RescueMe.ie operates as a technology platform that connects motorists with independent roadside assistance providers.

RescueMe.ie does not provide roadside assistance services, tow truck services or vehicle recovery directly.

All services are carried out directly between the provider and the customer.

3. Services Provided

Providers may offer roadside assistance services including but not limited to:

  • Breakdown recovery
  • Tow truck services
  • Jump starts
  • Mobile tyre fitting
  • Vehicle transport
  • Roadside assistance services

Providers must ensure they are properly equipped and qualified to deliver the services they offer.

4. Insurance Requirements

Providers must maintain valid insurance appropriate for the services they provide.

This may include:

  • Motor insurance
  • Public liability insurance
  • Goods in transit insurance where applicable

RescueMe.ie reserves the right to request proof of insurance at any time.

5. Provider Documentation

Providers may be required to submit documentation including:

  • Driving licence
  • Insurance certificates
  • Business registration information

Failure to provide valid documentation may result in suspension or removal from the platform.

6. Job Acceptance Responsibility

By accepting a job request through the RescueMe.ie platform, the provider confirms that they are acting as an independent operator and accepts full responsibility for the service provided to the customer.

This includes responsibility for pricing, vehicle handling, safety procedures and the outcome of the service.

RescueMe.ie acts solely as a platform connecting customers with independent providers and accepts no liability for the services delivered.

7. Payments

Payments for services are made directly between the provider and the customer unless otherwise specified.

Providers are responsible for collecting payment and handling any payment disputes.

RescueMe.ie does not guarantee payment for services provided.

8. Subscription Fees

RescueMe.ie may charge providers a monthly subscription fee for access to the platform.

Subscription pricing may change in the future with reasonable notice.

Failure to maintain subscription payments may result in removal from the platform.

9. Service Standards

Providers agree to deliver services in a professional and responsible manner.

This includes:

  • Treating customers respectfully
  • Providing transparent pricing
  • Operating vehicles safely and legally
  • Making reasonable efforts to respond promptly to accepted service requests

10. Service Quality & Safety Standards

Customer feedback, complaints and service performance may be monitored to maintain safety and quality across the RescueMe network.

RescueMe.ie reserves the right to suspend or remove providers where:

  • Repeated customer complaints are received
  • Unsafe or unprofessional behaviour is reported
  • Service standards are not maintained
  • Provider conduct may damage the reputation of the RescueMe network

11. County Coverage & Network Capacity

RescueMe.ie operates a structured provider network across Ireland.

To maintain reliable coverage and service standards, RescueMe.ie may limit the number of providers operating within specific counties or geographic regions.

Where adequate provider coverage has been reached, RescueMe.ie may restrict additional provider registrations in that area.

Access to the platform does not grant providers exclusive rights to any territory.

12. Provider Removal

RescueMe.ie reserves the right to remove any provider from the platform at its sole discretion.

Removal may occur where:

  • Customer complaints are received
  • Documentation becomes invalid
  • Unsafe practices are reported
  • Platform rules are breached
  • Provider conduct damages the RescueMe brand

Removal may occur without prior notice.

13. Customer Disputes

All disputes relating to services, pricing or damages must be resolved directly between the provider and the customer.

RescueMe.ie does not act as a mediator in disputes.

14. Platform Availability

RescueMe.ie does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the platform.

The platform is provided on an “as available” basis.

15. Limitation of Liability

RescueMe.ie is not responsible for any damages, losses, delays or disputes arising from services provided by independent operators.

Providers assume full responsibility for the services they deliver.

16. Changes to Agreement

RescueMe.ie may update this agreement from time to time.

Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
